Quilting Bees Make Honey

I'm constantly in awe of the care and love the members of the Quilting Bees have for each other. When there is need, we always go to the hive and make honey. This project was completed for Rachael's baby, Ivan, when he was born in November 2007. I never shared the photos, found them tonight, and decided to share them with all of you too. What a beautiful baby (my grandson) and colorful quilt. Thanks for being Busy Bees! -Linda

Ellie Donates Quilt

Ellie is sharing her talents with the Cancer Resource Center. Her fun quilt, Chile Con Huevos, was donated as a raffle item to raise funds for this supportive organization. Carol raves about how much they helped her when she was going through treatment. Thank you Ellie for being such a bzzy bee and makin' so much honey!

I really enjoy your blog. Almost makes me feel like I'm there with your group. I had to go to work full time a couple of years ago so I can't attend my Bee meetings anymore and I so miss them. I still count them all as my best friends. Sometimes we have a retreat and I take vacation time so I can attend. What fun.

I just found your blog through Quilting Bloggers. Really enjoyed seeing all of your pictures and "meeting" everyone in the group. Our quilt group has been talking about starting a blog, and I have sent them the link to yours so they can see what a really nice one looks like!
